I’ve been a hairdresser for over 20 years, and working with curly hair has always been at the heart of what I do. For the past 12 years, I’ve owned my own salon, spending every day hands-on with curls of every texture, pattern, and personality.
By listening to my clients and learning what curls truly need, I knew I wanted to take everything I love about working with curls and turn it into something people could use, trust, and enjoy every day.
Curly Cur has been over two years in the making. Every product has been tested on real people with real curls.
The goal was never to overcomplicate curl care — just to create thoughtful, easy-to-use products that bring out the best in every curl pattern.
The name Curly Cur comes from my Turkish father. During our FaceTime calls, words would blur and letters would shift. He would often ask, “Is it a curly C or a kicking K?”
Somewhere in between those moments, Curly Cur found its name — personal, unexpected, and perfectly imperfect. Just like curls themselves.
Curly Cur is where experience meets heritage.
